KING SOLOMON’S TEMPLE RETURNS TO CUMBERLAND & WESTMORLAND

8th October 2013

During the period when the Temple model was at the Tullie House Museum it was visited by Bro. Richard Brice the then Senior Warden of The Lodge of perseverance No 371, which meets at Maryport.

Richard was Installed into the Chair of King Solomon in July and his first task was to contact the Demonstration Team and request a visit. The Lecture was given in The Lodge of Perseverance No 371 on the 8th October.

This was in fact the 516th presentation of the Lecture but only the sixth time it had been presented in Cumberland & Westmorland; the last time being in 2001, at Gospatrick Lodge No 5268 in Workington.
Not surprisingly there were a number of Brethren present who had been to one or more of those presentations.

What was surprising however was that despite asking many Brethren present I was unable to find anyone who had noticed the report and picture on page 9 of the latest edition of Freemasonry today!
